River Walk/Park Beautification
The River Walk conducts two special events each year. The first one is the Memorial Grove Honoree for the current year. Individual memorial trees have been planted since 1979 to posthumously honor citizens of the community. If you would like to nominate someone for this honor contact Dr. Gwen K. The second special event if the Heritage Association Tree of Honor. The purpose of this award if to honor Heritage members who made significant and lasting contributions not only to the Association but to enhancement of the community as a whole.
