Final Level of Service Meeting Slated for Feb. 23

Dream San MarcosThe final Level of Service Community Open House will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Business After-Hours Chamber Mixer and City Board Reception at the City Park Recreation Center, 170 Charles Austin Drive.

All residents are welcome to participate. Residents may also take the survey online until Feb. 22 at www.sanmarcostx.gov.

Residents are invited to listen to presentations by City staff and then complete a survey to tell the City what costs or savings they would like to see in the areas of police service, fire protection, transportation, library, parks and recreation, and future water supply.

"If you haven't attended a neighborhood open house, I encourage you to come to the last one," said City Manager Jim Nuse. "We've received great feedback from the residents, and we want to make sure everyone who wants a chance to weigh in on our City services has a chance to do so."

The City of San Marcos has posted the survey online seeking continued citizen comment on the level of service provided by key departments. This is the same electronic survey used during the eight open house meetings that have been held in January and February and will be used at the Feb. 23 meeting.

Also at the event, the City of San Marcos will honor outgoing members of City boards and commissions.
