The Chamber's July 21st Business After-Hours Mixers was held at Bobcat Stadium, in the West Side Complex, Champions Level. Raffle drawings were held throughout the event, with the Grand Prize of tickets to the Bobcat Football home opener against Southern Arkansas.
Dr. Larry Teis, Director of Athletics, was in attendance to talk about the future of Bobcat athletics and the Drive to the Football Bowl Subdivision.
The Chamber's May 20th Business After-Hours Mixer was hosted by Prime Outlets-San Marcos, and was held in Saks Fifth Avenue, OFF 5th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. The first 100 attendees received gift bags and raffle drawings were held throughout the mixer.
The Chamber's April 29th Business After-Hours Mixer was held at Texas State Optical from 5:30p - 7:00p. They are located at 2406 Hunter Rd. Ste. 102, San Marcos, TX (map).
Chick-fil-A provided food and lemonade and Harry & David provided coffee and sweets.
Country Inn & Suites hosted the Chamber's March 25, 2010 Business After-Hours Mixer. Many prizes were given away, including a free night's stay at the Country Inn & Suites.

The raffle winner from the February Business After-Hours Mixer for the $20 gift certificate to Sean Patrick's was Robert T. Doerr of TCOR Insurance Management. Trisha Taylor from Mary Kay, Mitsie Benton of Happy Paws Pet Services and Irma Adams from Courtyard Marriott all won tickets to an upcoming Stoney LaRue concert here in San Marcos! Rob Rodriguez with Family4Life won a CTMC Chair and Randolph Goodman from Gary Job Corps won a CTMC Umbrella. Gloria Silvas with Jackson Hewitt also won a CTMC heart rate monitor. The San Marcos Chamber's next Business After-Hours Mixer will be held at Horizon Bay Retirement Living, formerly Merrill Gardens, at 1720 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, TX. The Mixer will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and will be a "Fiesta Celebration!"
The Mixer will kick off with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Horizon Bay and will also be a welcoming party for the Chamber's new Executive Vice President.
Horizon Bay will be providing food and drinks for Fiesta, so make sure you come ready to celebrate!

The San Marcos River Pub and Grill is hosting the Chamber's next Business After-Hours event on Thursday, February 26th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Since Mardi Gras is in February 24th, this Mixer will be a Mardi Gras Theme!

Texas Health & Racquet Club (THRC) hosted the Chamber's January Business After-Hours event on Thursday, January 29th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (click here for a map). Jason's Deli catered the event and free samples of smoothies were served, and "adult" beverages were available.
THRC raffeled off "Kickstart Packages" that consist of personal training and memberships of either 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.
