Weekly Quote

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

--Theodore Roosevelt

LUNCH & LEARN
Lunch and Learn - Click here for more information Changes in Employers' Obligations in Challenging Economic Times

There have been significant changes in employers' obligations during the past 9 - 12 months. We have seen more changes in that time than during the past 5 years. Harsh economic times also require changes in employment practices and cost cutting strategies relating to a business's workforce and most valued asset. On June 3rd, the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce and special Guest Speaker, Jeffrey A. Hagelman, will discuss these significant changes and address how successful employers can proactively adjust to maintain an effective and efficient workforce in the light of concerning trends in employment law and the economy.
